For anyone who is new to dog training, there are certainly some challenges to overcome. In a lot of cases, you could encounter one of those stubborn pups who just don’t want to listen, at which point you need the strategies of the pros at your disposal. Use these tips to learn more about taking on dog training, with an edge that won’t fail.
You want to begin your dog training as early as possible, but not too early. You want to wait until the dog is at least 49 days old before you begin trying to train them. But after that, you’ll want to begin quickly so that your dog can learn while he’s still adapting to his environment, and you don’t have to undo behavior that he’s already learned.
To help train your puppy not to chew on household items and furniture, you should make sure that your puppy is always occupied with an acceptable activity. Just like small children, puppies are always wanting to experience new adventures. If you don’t provide an activity, they will find one, and you probably won’t like the one they pick.
It is important to understand that training your dog will require a lot of patience and repetition. It often takes a dog between 25 and 50 repetitions before they are able to learn a new command. Getting frustrated will only delay your results and may hurt your relationship with your pet.

When training your dog make sure you always get his attention in the same manor. Always start your commands with his name. Get his attention with his name and then follow that with what you want him to do. Dogs often respond to their name immediately and know you intend for them to pay attention.
When training your dog, be competent! Your dog wants to know that you are in charge and that you know what you are doing. If you are inconsistent, anxious, irritable, angry, or in any way unstable while training your dog, you will not succeed. You must be calm, consistent, and competent. If you don’t know about dog training, it is a very good idea to learn from books, videos and people who know before you ever get a dog!
Your command should be the final command, and your pup has to learn. However, that doesn’t mean he is going to take the training and get it, immediately. You need to know the special tricks and get some good advice. The tips of this article can serve as a great point to start from, so that your dog training can go the way you want it to.

Was he just joking? But really, the whole word veterinarian used anymore. I doubt some people I know would realise what you were saying. Most people just say vet.
The Association of Avian Veterinarians is an organization for veterinarians that are interested in avian medicine, but it a college or program. Their mission is the keep veterinarians up-to-date in developments in all areas of avian medicine. The American College of Poultry Veterinarians (ACPV), however, is the national organization that veterinarians as specialists in poultry medicine after they complete a residency after veterinary school.
As far as I know, there is no specialty for general avian medicine – if you were interested in exotic birds, you would probably want to do a residency and become a diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine. If you were interested in pet birds in the general practice setting, you would want to take advantage of avian medicine classes in vet school and then do lots of "continuing education" courses (offered through the Association of Avian Veterinarians) after vet school. If you wanted to do production medicine (chicken/turkey farms for eggs/meat) you would want to be by the ACPV.
Hope that helps!
um i give it a 2/10 cause it barely was funny no even a smile but the 2/10 cause u tried
There are lots of different career options out there. TONS. You could do something to help people, animals, or children. Something or crafty. Something dangerous or exciting. Something to help the environment or protect the You just have to try a little bit of everything if you can- until you find the one thing you truly love. Just make sure you look into it a little first, before you invest all of your time and money into it. a great website that lists careers alphabetically; see if it helps:

Your motivation and eagerness to learn is very admirable. Please try not to stress so much about college at this point as someone probably in middle school
great though that thinking and planning goals for the future.
For general career information: and can search (should learn about zoology in school), scientists (may need a doctoral degree to become a "scientist") or whatever other career that piques interest.
Regarding your difficulty with understanding others at times (not to cause a panic) please talk with your mom about it and ask her to take you to the doctor just to rule things out.

How do you become a vet?
http://www.avma.org/education/cvea/colleges_accredited/allcolleges.asp
Bad job? Well, see. You save lives. You help people (having a pet is great for human health – lowers blood pressure, for example). You help them with that difficult transition when a pet dies. You help keep humans healthy because sick animals are a public health problem. You can even donate some services to a local shelter to help keep get pet overpopulation under control, or join other vets donating time to help the pets of the homeless (having a dog, for example, helps a homeless person avoid attacks and may be the only friend that person has). You can even earn a pretty good wage, own a home, maybe your own business.
Proving your seriousness may take some Volunteer at a local shelter. Check for internships at local vets (or ask your own vet if you can intern). studying not just vet science, but business with an eye toward one day running your own practice (doctors, both human docs and vets, have to understand the business side of things). Tell them you want to pursue a major leading to becoming a vet, but with a minor in business so you can run your own practice.
Show serious by to prepare yourself for both sides of the veterinarian business.
i didnt notice you saying too often
um..however, it is a very safe bland essay. your content is great though, very clear and concise.
I love your lil anecdote though! great touch =]
Because they sound the same.
No. Not at all. Not even mildly amusing. In fact, slightly annoying.
I think so too. I also think that in the second sentence you need to separate the good "from a young age etc" from the bad "until etc." with a period or a dash , not just the words "that is." You can the traumatic with "That is" but I hope you separate them in some bold way as they will be more that way… the long pause to show the great difference in feeling.
So, you can replace the word "veterinarian" with "vet" on the second time you need that word… then, in that last sentence (be sure you write "and set on my path" so it makes more sense)… perhaps use "animal doctor." After all, you were only twelve then, right?
Good luck with all this.
Means he is a playboy, or at least trying to be one.
If you have no interest, them him to back off.
not saying an idiot. But his impression is perfect.
Why not put all the words in capitals. eg
"What It Would Take Me To Become A Veterinarian" if you are not too certain
If this is just a "title", then only "What", "It", Would", "Take", "Me", "Become", and "Veterinarian" would need to be capitalized.
